Monochromatic vintage Christmas

For this card I have used shades of brown to create my monochromatic vintage Christmas card.
Using crafts too dies for the poinsettia and holly and a nelly snellen topper I have created a simple vintage Christmas card. Layering the topper gives it a framed picture effect.
The happy Christmas is a gold peel off that I have coloured with a brown permanent marker.

Christmas sparkle

This is the first Christmas card this year. I love sparkle so Christmas gives me a good reason to use as much as I can.
I have used 2 Christmas trees across the centre of a folded A4 sheet of pearlised card and a selection of 3 different sized snow flakes for the centre piece with a diamanté in the middle. Everything is cut out of Mirri card with the words merry Christmas placed above and below the snow flakes.

A little bit of glitter

This is my second card in the c2cu texture and glitter month
For this card I have put double sided sticky sheet over the black flowers and covered with ultra fine hues glitter. I used green red glitter this makes the black look green and the white look pink. Very easy to do and very affective. Have fun

Felt roses

C2cu challenge this month is textures and glitter. One of my textured cards is this beautiful rose card.
For the roses I have used felt and for the background I cut out a lattice in white and put it onto the card to create an embossed effect.
The foliage and words are cut out in white and coloured with distressed ink.
Try using felt to get stunning effects.

Fun in the sun beach colours

This weeks card for c2cu challenge is beach colours and I have kept the colours very pastel to get a dreamy effect.
The backing sheet has been embossed using a crafts too folder, the boat and anchor are from marianne dies. I have used pastels to colour the background and stickles to enhance the embossing and the sea.
I have gone over all the background with titanium white pastel to subdue the colours.
Have fun

Fun in the sun BBQ invite

This is the third week of the second month of c2cu challenge and for my card of fun in the sun I have created a BBQ invite.
This invite to a BBQ is bright and summery, the border is done with one inch squares of bright spotty paper from a paper block, with a mirror square in the centre.
The letters are cut out in a bright blue to match the striped apron.
The utensils are made from a marianne die and I altered the top of the fish slice by cutting the rounded top off and replacing it with a straight piece of card.
A very easy card to do, bright and colourful. I would love to receive this invite.

Anything goes

Today is the launch of Crafts-Too challenge blog and anyone can enter.(c2cublogspot.com)
The theme this month is anything goes, different eras and with a twist.
My card for this week is this vintage card using marianne dies, marianne stamp, cheery Lynn word, washi tape and glossy accents.
The roses are made by putting washi tape onto a piece of card then cutting them out using marianne flower and branch, the edge is created by cutting in half the die from the frame centre (twice). These are glued to the inside of the front edge, then a piece of black card is attached to the whole of the back of the card front.
The stamped picture is covered with glossy accents to create the look of a photograph.
I really enjoyed making this card.
Good luck to all of you that take part in the challenge.
